September: Bucketfilling
This week in Life Skills Class the 4th Grade classes reviewed Bucketfilling. Specifically, we talked about the importance of being AWARE of other people's buckets and not hesitating to use our lids. We also introduced the T.H.I.N.K. acronym. This is a good tool for kids and adults to use when trying to decide whether to tell someone something or not!. Check out the handout page to learn more.
**Parent follow-up:
Ask your child each night at dinner what they did to fill someone's bucket.
Ask them what someone else did that filled theirs.
Share a story about someone filling your bucket.
Ask them to explain to you what a "lid" is and when they might use it.
*For some, the bucket analogy is silly, but everyone should understand the concept is REAL!
